New Addition to the Lens Range for SWIR Cameras

The Even Broader View into the Distance with the 100 mm Telephoto Lens

Enabling you to create high-quality thermograms with your thermographic system, we offer a variety of lenses for our various camera models. This is because, in addition to the camera sensor, the infrared lens is an essential component of the camera system.

Also the SWIR cameras ImageIR® 8100 and ImageIR® 9100 feature a wide range of optics and can therefore be adapted to specific measurement tasks. The lens range spans from wide-angle to telephoto lens applications for distant objects.

The 100 mm Telephoto Lens for Long-distance Measurements

In order to create an even wider range of applications for the SWIR cameras, the lens portfolio for these two infrared cameras has been expanded to include a 100 mm telephoto lens. This allows both system cameras to capture objects in great detail and measure temperatures at a long distance. This opens up completely new possibilities for users in the field of thermographic temperature measurement.

SWIR Infrared Cameras ImageIR® 8100 and ImageIR® 9100

The SWIR infrared cameras ImageIR® 8100 and ImageIR® 9100 operate in the short-wave infrared range (SWIR) and are used for thermographic measurement tasks characterised by high temperatures and challenging materials. For example, they allow emissivity-optimised temperature measurements on metallic surfaces in high-temperature ranges between 300 °C and 1,700 °C.

Further Facts at a Glance
  • Both infrared cameras are radiometrically calibrated.

  • ImageIR® 8100 with (640 × 512) IR pixels in VGA image format

  • ImageIR® 9100 with (1.280 × 1.024) IR pixels in SXGA image format; optimally resolved display of the smallest details on large-area objects

  • Very small pixel pitch of only 5 μm, resolving even smallest details

  • Comparatively budget-friendly and compact optical design with high image quality
