Android or Windows tablets with preinstalled communication software are utilised. The scope of delivery includes a bright and high-resolution multi-touch TFT display for the reproduction of the native infrared real-time image. Further components are a robust camera-specific mounting, power supply and a charger.
The display solution allows access to all functions of the IRBIS® online control and acquisition software, delivered together with the camera. This means that an individual setup with regards to the measurement situation is possible if the PC intended for the data storage must be set up separated by a greater distance from the camera. But even when this is not mandatory, you have the option via the detached display to operate the camera unit very conveniently and independently of the computer location even at inaccessible capturing locations. In the twinkling of an eye, the display is removed from the camera housing and can also be used when it has been completely dismounted.
Remote control of the camera via system operation, detached from the data PC
Cross-platform camera control via Windows, Android and Linux is possible
Extremely bright display, removable
Support of the camera unit
Due to the remote control option, the display is more than just an indication instrument. For example, it also allows the:
Selection of a measuring range and the optimisation of the image display
Adjustment of the motorised focus control and activation of the autofocus function
Selection of all measuring parameters, image frequency and storage intervals
Configuration of the optional trigger interface
The removable camera display expands the operating functions of ImageIR® and VarioCAM® HD head by further application options:
Camera use for critical test equipment for which the camera user must adhere to a greater safety distance to the measured object, as can be the case, example, in explosion trials or in nuclear research
Integration of the camera in or on machines for which the units must be directly on the device, but there is no space available for the operating functions of a PC
Spatial resolution with detector formats with up to (1,920 × 1,536) infrared pixels
Integrated into camera, genuine temperature measured values
Thermal resolution as low as 0.015 K
Due to Binning technology increase frame rates and thermal resolution at the same time
Analysis of high-speed dynamic temperature changes and processes
More flexibility for upgrades and changes of components
Flexible filtering by inbuilt two filter- / aperture wheels with up to 25 combinations
Camera control and output of control signals for external devices
High-end detectors with up to (1,024 × 768) infrared pixels
Available with unique opto-mechanical micro-scanner for up to (2,048 × 1,536) infrared pixels
Thermal resolution as low as 0.02 K
Frame rate up to 240 Hz
Constant excellent optical and metrological performance even in harsh industrial environments
Easy and inexpensive installation in harsh process environments
